You believe in your story. I surrender to it. Capture it. And hand it back to you in a way you can remember forever.

You're about to embark on the most wonderful of adventures. Because you're here that tells me you value epic, mind-blowing photography. Well done!

I'm fortunate, and sometimes I have to pinch myself when I think about how much I love what I do. I illustrate every story you trust me with.

Incredible photographs result from a trusted relationship between us. This comes from a friendship, and from time invested in getting to know you, and why you have chosen the different elements that will make up your wedding day. Think of me as a visual biographer of sorts, a narrator, telling your story through the images of your day.

I want you to be blown away by how beautiful you really are, by how beautiful I see you to be.

Lets get started!

+ you are beautiful

Perfect Balance:: Kate and Aaron’s Ft. Wayne Wedding :: Indianapolis and Ft. Wayne wedding photographer

Get ready for some wedding deliciousness! I’ll warn you, I had a tough time deciding what to share so grab your favorite latte and sit back.

Kate is very energetic and full of life. She tends to move at a rather fast pace – between work, life, and friends she takes on a lot and is very busy – always talking, and talking fast. Not to mention smiling. She’s an idea person, a planner, and she has an entrepreneurial spirit.

Aaron is the opposite. Her parents joke that he’s Kate’s little Prozac. But that’s what she loves the most about him – the conversation has yet to stop between them, yet he is the only person she can sit in a room with and not have to say a word, or feel like she has to talk. Aaron is able to do the one thing no one else can do– get Kate to slow down and B R E A T H E when she needs to. He is the perfect balance for her, he’s her voice of reason. She can always count on Aaron to give an honest opinion.

They are in love. Period. We know how the story ends, but how did it come about?

They were introduced by mutual friends who were dating at the time. In Kate’s words, “Aaron, his roommate and my friend were just hanging out that night and my friend convinced me to come out with them since I was in town that weekend (home from college). She (my friend) wasn’t exactly trying to set us up per se – I had just gotten out of a relationship and neither of us were looking to date anyone at the time – she just knew I would click well with the guys and their group, and that it would be a fun time. When I arrived at the house, Aaron was sitting in the kitchen. He didn’t come out to meet me right away. Typical guy thing, trying to pretend like he wasn’t interested. We ended up going out to the local bar and he and I just hit it off – we couldn’t stop talking.”

A Ft. Wayne wedding isn’t complete without the trolley.

Both IU fans, they were on the same page about a lot of things. They credit the weekend of the IU/Purdue game as the moment when they realized they really, really liked each other and joke that it was the weekend they fell in love.

Always part of my internal dialogue shot list, the father daughter dance is one image not to be missed. Kate and her dad had prepared quite a show!

For the reasons they appreciate each other, I also appreciate them. Kate is one of my most organized and enthusiastic brides. And I love the aura of serenity that accompanies Aaron. Put it together and you have the perfect balance. Thanks you two, for allowing me to be a part of such a special moment.
